a hundred bucks can buy a home

Did you know that you can buy a home for a hundred bucks?

Yes you can.

A Hundred for a Home is trying to raise money for this family to move out of their small two bedroom apartment and into a home.

They are caring for their two terminally ill children.

A hundred bucks.  A little bit goes a long way.  Of course, they'll appreciate any amount, large or small.

How much is that Starbucks?

Looking for a place to spread some holiday cheer?  Head on over and buy a house.

  3. How inspiring!!

I especially love the "How much is that Starbucks?" I'm not much of a Starbucks supporter myself. I think they need to give the recipe away to anybody who wants it(of course, I think a lot of teens like it because it's cool...+ the sugary "coffee" drinks). So maybe less people would rink it if they didn't get to go to the place itself and feel like a Starbucks customer. Just imagine if Starbucks was not-for-profit! All of that moula?!? Oh my goodness. Or if they gave the recipe to people, all of that gas money that would be saved?? My dad drives 5 to 10 miles out of his way just to get a darn cup! And my English teachers drives 10 miles out of his way EVERY MORNING. ??

Ok, sorry, I'm done. Maybe I'll do a lil post on this. lol

About Me

My photo
Messy and wonderful perfectly describes my life as a wife and mom of five. I'm passionate about advocating for orphans by telling their stories and encouraging adoption and orphan care. My schedule is messy and wonderful as I am charged with four sons and one daughter. We love living in our little mountain ski town. We do a little camping, a little skiing, a little hunting, and a lot of laughing and loving. Life is dirty and loud around here but we wouldn't want it any other way. Okay, maybe a little less dirty!
